What is the minimum credit score you could arrange lending for?

Lenders do not use the actual figure on a credit score to assess their lending, and different credit agencies use different scales (so it's hard for us to give an exact figure of the minimum credit score needed!). However, each credit agency will give an idea of where your score places you (e.g. your rating could be Excellent, Average or Poor). The general rule tends to be that the lower you are on the scale, the harder it tends to be to borrow and the rate increases. Our brokers will need to assess your full credit report in order to give you the best advice. We suggest you create an account with a credit agency (there are plenty of free options out there), download a full report and check all the details are accurate before you speak to us.
