Yes! You can do this by downloading our app and selecting 'I already have a Lifetime ISA' during the sign-up process.

The transfer-in process is easy and all done in our app – once you've shared details of your current Lifetime ISA, we'll work with your current provider to get the funds across to your new Tembo account. You can select either cash or stocks & shares, regardless of what your current Lifetime ISA elsewhere is.

This can take up to 4-6 weeks but rest assured, as soon as you have requested your transfer, our team will be on the case and start working with your current provider to ensure the safe transfer of your funds.

Please be aware that while we process your transfer with your old provider, you won't be able to make contributions to your account - so no instant payments or direct debits. This is particularly important if you're reaching the end of the tax year and still have contributions to make.

You can deposit funds other ISA types, such as a Cash ISA, Stocks & Shares ISA, or a Help to Buy ISA, into your Lifetime ISA. The best way of doing this currently is to withdraw funds from your existing ISA (do check first with your current provider on any rules or government conditions regarding the withdrawal). Then you can add your funds to your Lifetime ISA with us at Tembo, via direct debit or as a one-off contribution.

Once you've created an account and added the funds, we'll send you an email to let you know when the money has landed.

🚨 Remember that you can only deposit up to £4,000 each tax year into a Lifetime ISA, so if you've got more than this in your other ISA, you'll need to split it over multiple tax years.
