🚨We've just extended our deadline for 2023/2024 contributions🚨

Any Lifetime ISA contributions that are made before 9pm 5th April 2024 will count towards the 2023/2024 tax year's allowances.

This gives us enough time to ensure they are allocated to your account in time for tax year end and counts for both gift link payments, and instant top-ups.

Contributions that are made after the above deadline will land in the new tax year (2024/2025), and count towards the new tax year's allowances.

Direct debit contributions that were collected after 1st April won't make the 2023/2024 tax year. The deadline to have chosen that contribution date was 22nd March at midnight. This is because changes to direct debits can only be made 5 or more working days before the collection date.

Your bonus takes 4-6 weeks to actually land in your account, but providing you made the contribution before the 5th April at 9pm, it won't impact your 2024/2025 allowance. That's because the allowance is tied to the date the funds are paid in, not the date your bonus lands.
