Instant Bank Payment
An Instant Bank Payment (IBP) is typically the easiest way to contribute to your ISA
To do this, just tap the Add Money button in-app and follow the instructions to connect to your bank account and add funds to your ISA
Direct Debit - Lifetime ISA (Cash and Stocks & Shares)
LISA direct debits are collected on fixed dates each month: 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
The final LISA direct debit collection for the 2025/26 tax year will be Wednesday 1 April 2026
This is as a result of the tax year end falling on Sunday 5th April. Friday 3 April is a bank holiday
This allows one working day for processing, meaning the contribution will be applied on Thursday 2 April 2026
Gift Links - Lifetime ISA
Deadline: Sunday 5 April 21:00.
Gift Links let friends and family contribute directly to your Lifetime ISA, with gifts still eligible for the 25% government bonus.
Contributions can be between £10 and the remaining amount of your £4,000 annual LISA allowance for the tax year.

Direct Debit - Cash ISA
Cash ISA direct debits can normally be collected any date between the 1st and 28th of the month
For the 2025/26 tax year, the final collection date will be Wednesday 1 April 2026
Tembo must receive the direct debit funds by this date, and it will take one working day to process, meaning the contribution will be applied to your ISA on Thursday 2 April 2026
🚨Tembo savings accounts don’t have a sort code and account number. Please do not send money to Tembo by bank transfer.
All payments must be made through the Tembo app by linking your bank account and paying via Instant Bank Payment. You can also contribute using direct debit or a Gift Link.
If you accidentally send a bank transfer using details from a previous Tembo transaction, don’t worry - your money is safe. The funds will arrive in a secure holding account and we'll return these to you within 7 working days. Please note, we cannot expedite this return.
