We ask for 30 days to process a Lifetime ISA withdrawal as this is a manual process and needs to go through HMRC, it is not possible to 'expedite' an eligible LISA withdrawal; this is not the same as a regular funds transfer, there are multiple steps involved in the process and the withdrawal needs to be registered through HMRC.
We do of course understand that the full 30-day period is not always possible and will move as fast as we can on this for all of our customers, however we cannot guarantee payment on time if we are not given enough notice to properly carry out the withdrawal process.
To make sure things proceed as quickly as possible, please make sure all the details submitted on the forms are correct and the form is signed by a registered solicitor with their own registration number.
