🏡 Our mortgage advice fees
To ensure you get the best possible service regardless of how complex your situation is, we usually charge a fee for mortgage advice.
Crucially, you will never pay for advice alone. The fee is only payable once you have a mortgage offer from a lender.
Standard mortgage or remortgage: £499
Complex mortgages: Up to £749. This covers more complicated situations such as Boost mortgages (like Income Boosts or Deposit Boosts), adverse credit history, or equity transfers.
These figures represent our typical fees, but your Tembo Mortgage Broker will confirm the exact fee structure for your situation right at the start. We promise that the maximum fee we charge will never be more than 1% of your mortgage loan.
Getting mortgage advice for free
We want to reward our savers. If you have an active Cash ISA or Lifetime ISA account with Tembo, you will have access to our award-winning mortgage advice entirely fee-free (T&Cs apply).

Cash Lifetime ISA: No monthly fee.
Stocks & Shares Lifetime ISA: We charge an annual fund fee of 0.35%. There is an additional 0.17% fee charged by the fund provider (BlackRock).
An update on Tembo Plus
We retired the old 'Tembo Plus' membership model on 8th November 2024. The final fee payment for any Plus customer was in September 2024.
We plan to relaunch Tembo Plus in the future with a host of new benefits. Former Plus members will be offered a 50% discount when it launches.
