If you have referred friends over to Tembo through your invite link, your referral reward (and theirs) will be due for payment once the referral is complete.
A complete referral is defined as when your friend has opened and funded a Tembo account with at least £500 (which can be deposited or transferred in) within 30 days of you inviting them.
If the referee has opened a new account:
The reward will be paid at the time of the next interest cycle after the referred customer’s 14-day (ISA) or 30-day (Lifetime ISA) cancellation period has expired. This period starts from the date of the first contribution.
If the referee has transferred in a balance:
The reward will be paid in the next interest cycle after the referred customer’s transfer process is complete.
The interest cycle runs on the 8th working day of the month following the month in which the qualifying funds are received.
For example, if a referred customer deposits £500 on January 31st, the referral bonus will be credited to both the referrer and the referred customer on March 12th (the 8th working day of March).
