How to invite your friends
Inviting your friends is simple and can be done directly through the Tembo app. Navigate to the 'Rewards' section in your account to find your unique referral link. You can share this link via text, email, or social media.
To ensure you both receive your bonus, your friend must sign up using your specific link. If they sign up independently without using the link, we won't be able to track the referral back to you.
What rewards can you and your friends earn?
During this limited-time promotion, both you and the person you refer will receive the same randomly selected bonus. The bonus is selected via a computer process using the following probabilities:
£20 bonus: 95% chance
£25 bonus: 4% chance
£50 bonus: 0.7% chance
£75 bonus: 0.2% chance
£1,000 bonus: 0.1% chance
The bonus is paid as additional interest directly into your account. For ISA and Lifetime ISA holders, this is a great benefit as it does not count towards your annual £20,000 contribution limit.
Who is eligible for the referral bonus?
To qualify for the reward during this Tax Year End offer, there are a few criteria to meet:
The Referrer: You must be an existing Tembo Savings customer with at least £500 in an active Eligible Savings Account (Cash ISA - Easy Access, Lifetime ISA, or HomeSaver).
The Friend: They must be a new customer who has never held a Tembo savings account before.
The Action: Your friend must open a Tembo Cash ISA (Easy Access), Lifetime ISA, or HomeSaver account and either deposit £500 or more, or initiate an ISA transfer of £500 or more, within 30 days of accepting your referral.
When will you receive your reward?
If your friend funds their account with a deposit, the bonus is typically credited within 60 days of their cancellation period (14 or 30 days) ending. If they are transferring an existing ISA, the bonus will be paid in the next interest cycle after the transfer process is complete.
Please note that while you can invite as many people as you like, you can only receive a reward for the first five successful referrals you make each month. For any referrals after this limit, only your friend will receive their bonus.
