You can earn a reward of up to £100 for yourself and a friend by sharing the Tembo Savings app. It is our way of saying thank you for helping your community reach their savings goals and get closer to homeownership.
At Tembo, we want to make home happen for as many people as possible. Our referral scheme rewards you for growing our community of savers. When you invite someone to open an eligible Tembo account, you both get a cash boost credited as additional interest, meaning it does not count toward your annual ISA contribution limit.
Which accounts are eligible?
To take part in the scheme, you or your friend must open or hold one of our "Eligible Savings Accounts":

Please note that the Tembo Cash ISA - Fixed Rate is currently excluded from this promotion.
How to invite your friends
Referring a friend is simple and can be done entirely within the Tembo app99.
Find your link: Go to the 'Settings' tab in your Tembo app and tap on 'Invite friends' to find your unique referral link.
Share the link: Send this link to your friends. To qualify, they must be a new Tembo customer and use your specific link to sign up.
The qualifying deposit: Your friend needs to fund their new account with at least £500 within 30 days of claiming the reward in the app. They can do this via a fresh deposit or by initiating an ISA transfer of £500 or more.
The reward: Once the referral is successfully completed, both you and your friend will receive the same randomly selected bonus.
How much can we earn?
Rewards are assigned randomly to keep things exciting. The possible bonus amounts and their probabilities are:
£10: 95% chance
£25: 4% chance
£50: 0.7% chance
£75: 0.2% chance
£100: 0.1% chance
You can invite as many people as you like. However, to keep the scheme fair, referrers can only earn rewards for the first five completed referrals each calendar month. After that, only your friend (the referee) will receive a bonus.
When will the money arrive?
The timing of your reward depends on how your friend funded their account:
For deposits: The bonus is credited within 60 days of the account's cancellation period ending. This period is 14 days for a Cash ISA or HomeSaver, and 30 days for a Lifetime ISA.
For transfers: The bonus is paid in the interest cycle immediately following the completion of the transfer.
Important things to know
To ensure you and your friend qualify for your rewards, please keep these rules in mind:
Your balance: You must have at least £500 in your own active eligible Tembo account to refer others.
New customers only: This offer is only for friends who have never held a Tembo Savings account before.
Maintain your balance: Both you and your friend must keep a balance of at least £500 and not close or transfer your accounts before the bonus is credited.
Automated system: Because our system is automated, we cannot manually add a referral if the link is not used or if incorrect information is entered during sign-up.
