To move your Tembo ISA to another provider, you must ask your new provider to arrange the transfer for you. Please do not withdraw the money and transfer it yourself via bank transfer, as this will lose your tax-free status and impact your ISA allowance for the current year.
Starting the switch
The process is simple and standard across the industry. You just need to contact the provider you want to move to and fill out their transfer form. They will then contact us directly to move the funds.
Since we are a savings provider rather than a traditional bank, we don't use standard sort codes or account numbers. Instead, your new provider will need your Account Reference.
The details your new provider needs
When filling out your new provider's transfer form, use the following details:
Provider Name: TEMBO SAVINGS LIMITED (previously known as Nude Finance Limited)
Provider Address: 18 Crucifix Lane, London, England, SE1 3JW
Account Reference: You can find this in the Tembo app under Settings > My Profile.
Cash ISAs: usually formatted as
ACC-XXXXXX-XXXXXXLifetime ISAs: usually formatted as
NUXXXXXXXXXX
If the form asks for a Sort Code or Account Number
Because we don't have these, you should provide your Account Reference or your National Insurance Number (NINO) as the identifier.
If the online form forces you to enter an 8-digit account number:
Try leaving the 'Account Number' field blank.
Enter your Account Reference in the 'Roll Number' field instead.
If the form still won't accept it, please contact your new provider's support team for help, or check if they can accept the transfer using your NINO.
What happens next?
Once your new provider contacts us (we ask them to use email to avoid postal delays), the process typically takes 7β15 working days.
Check your email: We will email you to confirm you're happy for us to proceed. We cannot complete the transfer without your approval.
Your account will be restricted: While the transfer is in progress, you won't be able to deposit or withdraw funds.
Account closure: If you transfer your full balance, your Cash ISA will close and disappear from the Tembo app once complete. You won't be able to reopen this specific account, but any other accounts with us will stay open.
Partial transfers: Please note that we cannot facilitate partial ISA transfers out. If you wish to leave, you must transfer your full ISA balance to your new provider. Any requests for partial transfers will be rejected.
