A ‘Rejected’ status means that the referral didn't meet the necessary criteria to qualify for a reward. This most commonly happens if a balance falls below the required limit or if the monthly referral cap has been reached.
Common reasons for rejection
Balance drops: If either you or your friend’s account balance falls below £500 during the validation period, the referral will be automatically rejected.
Monthly limits: We love your enthusiasm, but we can only reward the first five successful referrals you make each calendar month.
Duplicate accounts: If your friend has previously held a Tembo account or used a different referral link, the system may reject the new claim.
If a referral shows as 'Rejected - ineligible', it means it doesn't meet our Terms & Conditions, and therefore isn't eligible for a reward.
Let’s look into it
If you believe your referral has been rejected in error - for example, if you are sure both balances stayed above £500, we want to fix it. Our support team can investigate the specific reason behind the rejection.
